A physical appointment card sits on a kitchen counter, pins to a fridge, or slips directly into a wallet as a physical reminder.
Keep the front focused on your branding—include your business logo, name, phone number, and website. On the scheduling areas of your card, leave dedicated, clear blanks for the Day of the week, Date, Time, and the name of the specific staff member or specialist they’re booking with.
These cards get printed on an uncoated stock that works perfectly with all standard ballpoint or gel pens, and lead pencils without any smudging or wiping off. However, because the paper is porous to absorb these inks, heavy permanent markers or thick felt-tipped pens aren't recommended, as they might bleed through to the other side.
Keep it brief: Don't crowd the card with giant paragraphs of fine print.
Add your cancellation policy: Include a tiny, polite line at the very bottom noting your policy (e.g., "Please provide 24 hours' notice for cancellations" or “please arrive 15 minutes prior”). This sets clear expectations from day one.
